Tripitaka - The Tripitaka contains various of the first Buddha's original teachings. Throughout the document, the most important principles and teachings of Buddha are recorded and taught to those of Buddhist belief. The Tripitaka is the Buddhist's main guide to living an ideal life deemed fit in the eyes of a Buddha.

Mahayana Sutras - The Mahayana Sutras are separated into 3 different Sutras. Each describe Mahayana teachings on the nature of Buddha and how to reach the Pure Land as Buddha taught. The essence of living a pure life is key in reaching the Pure Land. Buddhist believers shape their lives in a way that helps allow them to eventually reach the Pure Land.

Tibetan Book of the Dead - The Tibetan Book of the Dead is used to describe the experiences that occur from the point of dying up to the point of rebirth. It is a guide for Buddhist followers on to help understand the experiences they go through between the time of death to the time of rebirth. This helps to allow them to hopefully reach Enlightenment in their next life, and the lives that come after.
